Gun Disposal Event - Join us as we team up to get the guns out of our communities. Bring your handguns, long guns, and automatic riffles to be disposed of and turned into art. No questions asked. Gift cards of up to $200 will be given away to participants while supplies last. Arrive early.

St. David's Episcopal Church + Church of the Messiah Detroit present:
Event Name: Firearms Become Art. Gun Disposal Event
Date: Saturday Aug. 24th 2024: 9am-1pm EST
Location: Church o fthe Messiah Detroit
Purpose: Old or unused guns can find their way into the hands of those that would harm our community. As we continue to deconstruct gun violence at the root, we realize that some gun collection events actually resell or return the firearms to the streets. On this day, we will saw your firearms into pieces onsite and transform these instruments of harm into instruments of art right in front of you.
