OUR MISSION

"WE BUILD THE COMMUNITY UP UNTIL VIOLENCE IS NOT
AN OPTION."

Founder | Rev. Dr.. Barry Randolph, Church of the Messiah Detroit

Silence The Violence is the official nonprofit mission dedicated to creating lasting agreements between the essential safety stakeholders in your community.

This year, Silence The Violence invites your neighborhood to accept the national call to establish your 1st Safety Stakeholders Association (SSA). Violence is the one trauma that unites all communities, and robs every generation of bright and meaningful futures.

We cannot litigate or prosecute our way into safe schools or neighborhoods. Instead, using the Islandview Model led by Pastor Barry Randolph of the Church of The Messiah Detroit, we will build and train your leadership in the systemic deconstruction of community violence. Islandview has not experience one incident of gun violence in 17 years. Now it is your turn. Enough is enough.

Today we ask you to lead necessary change where you and your family live, work, and play.
